The newest version of Transoft Solutions" flagship software offers better functionality as well as greater usability than previous versions to give traffic engineers, civil engineers, city planners, architects, parking facilities developers, and other designers of transportation infrastructure, the very best in tools for vehicle maneuver simulation.

AutoTURN 6.0 gives its users more than just the ability to simulate and analyze vehicle maneuvers within their designs. Like the AeroTURN 2.0 line, this version of AutoTURN will be compatible with InVision. For users, this means that multiple simulations can be sequenced, dynamically edited, and exported as .AVI video files to create presentations for use on or away from the workstation, in order to give stake holders a more complete picture of how the design functions.
In addition to creating animations for stakeholders, designers can give non-technical stakeholders a more genuine visual representation of their designs with Realistic Plan Views of vehicles. The Adjust Vehicle Shapes tool will give users the ability to define filleted radii and chamfered vehicle corners for less conservative or tighter envelope generation. In doing so, both designers and non-technical stakeholders get a more realistic visual simulation.
As a powerful workstation tool, some of AutoTURN"s core functions have also been enhanced. The Path Control function, part of the SmartPath tools, has been augmented to show dynamic information from a choice of design parameters. Path information is displayed heads-up to give designers an understanding of the impact of changes being considered. As users vary the swept path, the information about the design parameters and the simulations intelligently change. Additionally, users can track the articulating angle along the simulation path and display this information in the drawing, or export the data through the View Report function.
Like the SmartPath tools, resource information has also been given a boost and an added feature. The Vehicle library has been expanded to include more vehicles from around the world to assist all designers with urban infrastructural projects. New and updated libraries from, CalTrans, Alberta (Canada), Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, and the Netherlands are included to complement the extensive libraries already found in AutoTURN. New and customized vehicles archived within the Vehicle Library are now easy to retrieve with AutoTURN"s Vehicle Database. This new database eliminates the laborious process of going go through each individual library to find the appropriate design vehicle.
Although AutoTURN 6.0 is only available in English at present, a multi-language version will be released in the near future.
