OCZ intros memory with enhanced performance profiles.

OCZ announced the PC2-7200 Platinum series, the firm"s first memory line that integrates enhanced performance profiles (EPP). According to the company, the PC2-7200 devices are "designed with advanced SPD settings to allow compatible motherboards to recognize and utilize the added operation data, ultimately increasing the performance potential of the entire platform." The devices are offered in single 1 GB versions and 2 GB dual-channel (2 x 1 GB) packages. Pricing has not been announced.
