Kingmax: DDR2 to be 20 percent of the DRAM this year.

Kingmax Semiconductor, ranked as the world"s eighth-largest third-party DRAM-module supplier by iSuppli for the last two years, is hoping to increase the proportion of DDR2 products in its unit shipments to, at least, 20 percent by the end of this year. Last week, the company launched its new DDR2-667 modules targeting new generation of the Intel platforms based on i945 and i955 chipsets.

CES 2006: NVIDIA: Two-tiered Windows Vista hardware support may split product line.
Las Vegas (NV) - Revealing more than we knew before about Microsoft"s planned two-tier program for computer manufacturers and OEMs, and graphics card manufacturers, a representative of NVIDIA on the CES floor told TG Daily today that Microsoft"s plans for "Vista Standard" and "Vista Premium" support programs will indeed create two separate, simultaneous groups of graphics cards, and potentially two classes of computers as a result.
