Intel 'Nehalem' Talks April 2nd and 3rd.

Reminder: Intel will hold tech talks on its Nehalem-based Xeon processors this Thursday and Friday, April 2nd and 3rd 10 am - 12 noon PDT. We"ll be doing a countdown to the two events starting at 9 am PDT. The talk will center around why the Nehalem architecture is an all around excellent CPU not only for consumers but for business customers as well. The talk will be hosted between Intel performance engineers and engineers at Dell, who are up for a big Xeon release. Interestingly enough, Apple is the first company out the door with Nehalem-based Xeon systems with the recently annoucned Mac Pro. Join us 10 am - 12 noon PDT on 4/2 for a live chat session with Intel Performance Engineers. We will discuss performance benefits of the Intel XEON 5500-series processor, code-named "Nehalem" microarchitecture. You can access the tech talk here. Nvidia Says It Is Not Quitting The Chipset Market.
Nvidia has released an official statement refuting the recent Digitimes story claiming that the company is planning to quit its chipset business. Michael Jong, senior director of corporate marketing for Nvidia indicated that Nvidia has no intention of getting out of the chipset business and that the report is completely groundless.
