Imetodo to Represent Configure One"s Products in Spain
HARLOW, UK, September 08, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Configure One Europe a leading provider of web-based product configurator and electronic catalog software, today announced a partnership agreement with Imetodo, a consulting company located in Logroņo, La Rioja, Spain. Under the terms of this agreement, Imetodo will represent Configure One"s Concept Enterprise Product Configurator , Concept E-Catalog , and Concept E-Commerce software products in Spain.
"Imetodo is a consulting firm with three main business areas, IT consulting, E-Learning and Innovation," said Juan Nuņez Diaz, CIO. "In these difficult economic times, companies are looking to reduce costs and improve efficiency. We believe that there are a lot of companies in Spain that could take advantage of the benefits that Configure One offers. I have researched the market and there are no Spanish companies that offer the same capabilities as Configure One."
Configure One is focused on companies that sell and process orders for configurable, multi-option, and customisable products and services. Nuņez has already identified two potential underserved markets. "We are located in Logroņo, the capital of the La Rioja province in northern Spain. This area is famous for its wine. Initially, our plan is to target companies that manufacture equipment for the wine industry. In addition, there are a lot of changes in education market here in Spain and we feel that there is an opportunity to offer a product that will help students configure their own classes."
Imetodo has prior experience with Configure One software. Previously, Nuņez provided consultancy services to Configure One"s product configurator implementation at British Telecom (BT) Spain.
According to Jon Lidbury, general manager Configure One Europe, Ltd., Imetodo had all the attributes that Configure One was looking for in a reseller. "They"ve had previous experience with implementing Configure One"s software in Spain and they have the ability to support customers locally. Their business plan demonstrated a thorough knowledge of the local market and identified many new opportunities for Configure One software."
