CES 2006: A-Data presents SD cards with capacity display.

Memory specialist A-Data today showed us its BCD-SD card. This is the latest member of the company"s MyFlash product series and it is availaible in capacities of 128, 256, 512 Mb and 1 or 2 Gb. While the Turbo SD cards hit 150X speeds, the BCD-SD has 80X speed only. In exchange, it comes with a small LC display that shows the remaining storage capacity of the memory card. It uses the interface power to change the capacity display while plugged into a SD card reader, and it will maintain the display until it is replugged into a reader slot. Exclusive coverage of CES 2006 continues throughout the day, from TG Daily and the network of TG Publishing.
