Albatron launches GeForce 7300GS graphics card.

Albatron today announced the availability of its latest graphics card offering, the GeForce 7300GS based on the Nvidia GeForce 7300 GS graphics processing unit (GPU). Although this comes on the heels of announcements for similar products launched by three of Albatron"s competitors, no price has yet been announced. The current 7300 GS offerings from Walton Chaintech, Micro-Star International (MSI) and XFX have varying levels of memory (256 MB or 512 MB) and are priced from $81 to $110.

Convoy crews have been testing out the GLARE weapon-mounted laser by shinning the beams into the windshields of slow and dangerous cars. So far the makers of the laser system, B.E. Meyers and Company, say the tests are a resounding success.
